Products I regret buying

Products I regret buying

These are beauty items that I've purchased and regretted because they did not satisfy me. This is my own opinion. If you've used these products and loved it, GREAT. I'm happy that they've worked for you.

- Revlon Colourstay Liquid liner. The applicator is a felt tip but feels like one of those pointed wooden sticks on the eye. It rubbed my skin raw because the tip was so abrasive. I had a hard time drawing a nice line with this product, which smudged after a day at school. Bold colour (kinda looks like ink) but the amount of liner provided was not enough and may only last for a month or so.

- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. Omg this thing was a train wreck. I bought it because it won so many awards in magazines and because it got rave reviews from makeup artists. It clumps like crazy and smudges after only a couple hours. And removing the product from the lashes is a nightmare.. so hard to get off.

- False eyelashes from Thefaceshop. On sale at $5 a pop, I thought they're be great quality and easy to apply. First of all, the lashes were like.. thick plastic, they didn't even look like lashes, more like a Hawaiian grass skirt. And the band was really tough and poked me in a corner. The glue that was included was just terrible. And to top it off, a salesgirl who worked there even told me herself that their lashes weren't good. She uses ones from Taiwan herself, which cost $10 for 12 pairs.

- Clinque Facial Soap. Extremely drying with a icky smell to boot. I really tried to love this product since this was from the famous 3-step care line and it had worked for so many others. I'd use a bit of it and my skin would have all the moisture sucked out of it and feeling tight around my face. And the giant slice of soap wasn't the most convenient to work with, I much rather prefer a bottle with a pump. This is now lying under my sink as a dried up and waxy piece of brick. Tasty!
