Small Clubbing Clothing Haul~ Prom dress considerations

So I went shopping yesterday at Metrotown, looking for a nice homecoming dress. I checked nearly 100 stores but still couldn't find the perfect one shoulder dress ; ;
However, I did pick up some pieces that were rockin cute and I had been looking to buy from quite some time! I went into Sirens and Mariposa to purchase these (notorious for their cheap quality but oh well =S). I've never really shopped at these stores before. We have a Sirens at RC but it's a small store and I've never set foot inside Mariposa before. I'm sure what I bought, everyone and their mother owns already, but I like it ;3
This is all clubbing attire because that's mainly what these stores sell.

This is a plain black jersey dress. It has two tones to it, the top is black and the bottom is has a sheer, metallic look to it. This is the plainest dress out of all my purchases and the most causal. I think I could wear this to school as well!

One shoulder dress with a elastic belt to cinch at the waist. What I really like about this dress is that the sleeve is split down the middle, giving it a unique look. This dress is backless and I'm not sure what event this will be appropriate for ):

Two toned dress.. black ruffle bottom and white contraption on top. I had the hardest time getting this on even though it's in my size. It's so tight at the waist so you can't step into this and have to slip it over your head and struggle to get it down. But I like this dress, I wore it for a party and everyone was like 'aww so cute'

This is a very simple purple layer skirt. I only got it because my mom was all 'why is everything you buy in only black and white? get some colour!' so I bought this x) I already have something like this in black but I like this purple shade!

I like the detailing on this skirt, it's scrunched at the side and has a zipper going up the middle of it! My frd thought this was a tube top when she first saw it. Hmm I guess it could double as a top (:

Here are some prom dresses that I really liked!
I couldn't decide between any of them so I took some photos and went home to sleep on it.

They're all sold at Laura Petites and vary from $180-250 dollars. I'm going to the states on the 24th and I'll see if Seattle has anything nice before making a purchase. I'm gonna check inside Macy's because I've heard they have prom dresses. What are the chances of wearing the same dress as someone if I buy it in the USA right? (: I'll also need new shoes because I don't like the ones I bought last time ):

Decisions, decisions!
Oh but my school dance is coming up, I wonder which one of my new dress I should wear? (:

Such gorgeous weather lately!

(:
